Turbo Removal Procedure W/ Tips

Now I know some know how to pull the turbo but I do realized there are new owners out there too. Pulling the turbo is one of the first steps for many repairs, intake removal, hpop removal, egr cooler etc.. So with what there is to work with out there video wise not being so great I figured a good reference video was in order. I think this one turned out well along with a few tips, hope this help those wary of pulling the turbo. The 6.0L is actually very easy to work on once you get used to it.

This is a pretty good video. A good resource for the first timer for sure. I could have used this about a month ago, but I was able to figure out some of your tips through trial. Good job though. The close ups of the bolts and such are good. I used my iphone and a flashlight to get some footage so I could see what was going on.

Good video, wish I would have seen something like this a year ago when i tore into an egr delete with little to zero 6.0 knowledge
