Unlock SCT X3?

How do I do this? I got my new PCM in and need to unlock it I think. There used to be an option for the Xcal2 on the device updater to do this but I'm not seeing it on the updater I have now. I have all 4 unlocks left.

I believe your going to have to send it to sct. At least that's what I had to do with mine.

His sct still has 4 unlocks left he's talking about his pcm. I thought new pcms have to be initially programmed by ford but I honestly don't know 100% so here's a bump for u bud.

That's what I thought also but the dealer took my vin number when I ordered it and said they would get all the info from it and it would come programmed.

Mine was a used pcm so there was a vin mismatch. My bad.

You are wanting to unlock your SCT X3 so that you can program your new PCM correct? In order to unlock your SCT X3 you have to return your old PCM to stock because it is VIN locked. ( I know you cant do this since your old one is fried), So,

•Status: Locked - The vehicle is VIN locked, you need to either return the vehicle it is currently locked to back to stock, or you will need to call Tech Support and Get a Return Authorization and pay an Unlocking Fee.
