Do you have a stock down pipe? If so you need to pull the trans, if you have an aftermarket 2 piece down pipe you can do it (I was able to do it) with just removing the pass side up pipe first, then the driver side, then the egr tube (which takes a lot of wiggling to get out) I just took everything out the area the down pipe was. I didn't have to cut anything. Probably the thing that gives you the most problems is getting to the turbo up pip bolts that mount the up pipes to the turbo, some of the manifold nuts and the bolt that holds the egr pipe to the back of the head (broke a 1/4 ratchet) turbos stayed in place as well. I just removed the CCV canister to give my arm more room
