Up pipes

How is everyone gettin them to hold up? I blew my sticker out so I went with 6.0 mani and Rudy's up pipes. Last night i blew another out. It cracked up by the egr provision pipe. Is there something I can do diff do this wont happen no more?

That is strange your hard on things. LOL We have never had any problems after switching to 6.0 manis and uppipes with HD bellows.

I guess I am lol. The egt were 1632 deg last night wen they went.

Most people do not realize that the 6.4 design is not necessarily the problem, its the wall thickness that hinders us at trucks with higher backpressure numbers.

Thats why I believe that 6.0 manifolds arent necessarily the solution, because 6.0 trucks still blow the up pipes apart too in higher backpressure situations.

Thats why we use double the wall thickness on our up pipes that we manufacture and sell, havent seen one set EVER split the pipe out.

My MPD up-pipes have blown apart twice and I've broken both bellows as well. Finally had mine reinforced by my buddy because I was sick of fixing them every other week.
