Value of a 6.0 core engine

I have the chance to get a core motor. The engine is a being sold as a core because they know nothing about the condition of the motor. It is more or less complete, missing the electronics, and may be missing the injectors (valve covers have been taken off at some point, only got a chance to do a quick visual), but pretty much everything else is there. No windows in the block, no rods pushed out the bottom...

What would you guys feel comfortable paying for it, not knowing if it is even a salvageable engine? I mainly want it for some of peripherals and to mock some things up...

I've never paid more than 3-400 for a parts motor... I always plan to buy them as a mock up, and I still have no mock up motors, end up scrapping them. :hammer:
