Anyone done them yet? Really don't feel like pulling the heads this go around, but if I have to I will. Any input would be great. I know people have done them on the 7.3's but haven't really seen much on the 6.0/6.4.

Not on a diesel but on cars. You can try shop air through a gp hole. Bout your only option

if you have a compression tester for a diesel, and the fitting that goes through the glow plug holes, you have everything you need already.

I know nathannial from elite has done them. I think he had to make a tool to get to the rear, but this is with the cab on.
Other then that you can do it when piston is TDC so the valve doesn't fall in

On my 7.3 I put the piston at TDC, the valve will only drop down a little. You'll just need to find a small spring compressor that will fit down in there.

The cab will be pulled but just trying to avoid pulling the heads if I dont have to. Sounds like I might give the swamps tool a shot.

I am but honestly I'd rather stud gaskets with a good bite and some miles on them over fresh.

Makes sense.....Now I really wish I would have done the valvetrain while I was in there so I considering a valvetrain upgrade heads on.
