No stores near me stock Premium Blue Extrteme 5W40 anymore. What's a good substitute? Anybody use Schaeffer 9000? The local Advanced called the Valvoline distributor and they said the only way to buy 5W40 is in 55 Gallon drums.

You don't have a NAPA near you? Many (most?) of them don't stock it but can order it.

I stopped into my local NAPA today, gallon jugs of Extreme Blue were on sale for $21.99 each. Also found out they stock it on a regular basis.

How about some Amsoil. It's by far the best oil I've ever ran in my 6.0 or 6.4. It performes better than Extreame Blue with Rev-x did for cold starting my 6.0. It lowered the oil temp 10 degrees and gained 1 mpg on our 6.4 also.

Have people really had bad experiences with Motorcraft oils? I have always ran delo-400 in mine.

I now run delo-400 with 2 pints of Revx in my 6.4.... Cant say ive ever seen an issue to date

I've used Motorcraft for every oil change. But since I refuse to shop at Walmart, I print out their price and go to Oriellys or Advance because they will price match.

Valavoline Extreme Premium Blue sells for $22/gal at Cummins Bridgeway up here in Michigan and I'm sure Ohio too. I am buying it 10 cases at a time and getting another $2/gallon off.
