van vs truck motor differences

i had a van kinda fall in my lap for cheap, so i think i'm gonna get it.


i have a lifter tick/knock in mine so i want to just pull the motor out of the van and put it in the truck. just trying to find out if it's a direct swap, or if there are a few things that needs changed from motor to motor to make the swap.

usually there are a few bolt on or minor changes between a truck and a van, just trying to figure things out first.

they never put the 6.4 in a van...

They kept the 6.0 in the vans. Not the 6.4

thats what i thought, but the guy swore it was a 6.4.

figured it'd be a pipe dream, but worth checking out

i haven't seen it yet, figured i'd do some checking before i drove a hour.
