First actual build thread on the forum. But I have a 06 CCLB with 190k miles that I got for a decent price. My goal for this truck is mid 600-700hp and still tow very light.

So fair my list of parts

ARP 425
Ford oem gaskets
Heads gone through and o ringd
Mahle lifters
RCD stage 2 cam
Rudys stage 1 valve springs and rods
225/100s
T4 mount with s366
Diesel site coolant filter and water pump
Irate fuel system with driven diesel reg return

When I get it all tore apart and everything looks good I may consider buying the upgraded diesel site hpop for the 05-07 trucks. Or buy it at a later date.

Progress so far

The shops the previous owner took it too kinda frustrated me.. They used helacoil for an exhaust manifold stud and it looks like crap. It was missing one and was leaking and it hasn't been on there even 6 months. Valve cover bolt was hand tight on one. No bushings on the ficm. Guess all I can do is fix it right

Yea I know bout crappy shop. Try missing the whole ficm, wiring harness and other parts. But looking like your going to do this. That's what I want to do on my next so definitely be watching your build thread

Well I pulled out my buddies 225/100s today and his ficm mounted different? Mine had no bushings but mounted to the intake on one and then a flat plate over the back side. My girlfriends 03 is the same.. My buddies uses nuts and does not mount to the intake?

Well a little update. Decided to replace the main and rod bearings. First set of mains I got from mahle one was bent and would not seat right. They said it was my fault for installing it saying I bent it. Of course to hear they where also back ordered until September. But I ended up getting a coated set from elite. Added some arp rod bolts as well.

Got the bed plate on tonight. Been a slow progress with work. Hoping to get the deck cleaned and the front and rear covers on as well as oil pan this week.
