Thinking about changing direction with my wheel/tire setup. I was originally gonna run 24x14 wheels with 38's. Thinking about going 20x14 with 38x15.50's.

My thinking's to run more tire for playing around in the truck. I personally like both looks. The 24's and the 20's. So Im looking for some feedback on what you guys think. I know 24's are the latest/greatest thing but I'm concerned about tires for them. Thanks in advance.

22 doesn't have a 38 tire to match. My only options are 37x13.50 or a 40". Otherwise I'd be all for it.

Does anyone make a 37 for a 22 that's any wider than a 13.50? If so I'd go with that. I think a 20x14 with a 38 is gonna give a TOO deep lip. Almost like you're looking into a pipe.

Also, with a 37 it's only gonna be slightly shorter, I doubt that anyone can see a difference in .5" on top and bottom. It may give you a little more room to stuff the tire for Offroad playing if you really are gonna use the truck like that.

What's your lift specs going to be like?

Yeah I see what your saying about the pipe effect. I thought about that too. Only 37 I've seen's a 13.50 wide. I'll figure it out.

It's a OUO 525 system set at 12".

I had the same delima when getting mine. 12's are about right for the tires out on the mkt now a days. I wish there where 14.50's available, a 37 or 38 with 22x14's on a wide tire would look great. I am not a fan of 14's on a 12.5" tire, too much rim for the tire.

I originally wanted 38's but the lack of availability sucks. Ii know there isn't much difference in size but 40's were bigger than I wanted to go and those things are ***ing expensive.

I'm currently running 22x12.25 alcoa super singles on a 35x12.50. It looks ok but can't wait till I get my 37x13.50 mounted. Then I believe it will look a lot better.

I think 22x12 look perfect. 24's and 14 wide wheels look a little obnoxious to me.

Yeah I dont want 40's either. Starting to think 10" with 22x12 is what I'll do.

I have 20x12 with 38.5x14.5 tires, I love it but I think a 20x14 would be cool too. My truck is just an 01 with an 8" lift though.
