washing the engine

i decided i was going to for the first time, i bagged the intake and alternator. i just gave it a generous spray of simple green, and im about to hose it off, heres a before ill put up after pics when im done.

here it is all done, after i did the simple green i let it run and dry off then sprayed it down with turtle wax foaming tire shine

I see your truck still has the orange turbo inlet hose. Keep a good eye on that they can tear at the clamps and let in dirt.

It is a complete kit that replaces the boot, the aluminum CCV piece, the brackets and the clamps. I can track down a part number if you need it.

thanks for the heads up! where do they usually tear? ive had it off a time or two and didnt notice anything but that doesnt mean it isnt there

on edit: i realize you said at the clamps. ill give them a check the rest of the engine is in perfect condition for 210k. nobody likes a dirty engine
