Water Seperating

Ok I am probably beating a dead horse thats been beaten before, and Ill take the licking Im probably going to receive but.......

There has to be an alternative to DieselSites Fuel Water separator, I mean come on $650 is a pile of cash.

Whats keeping me from putting a water separator that I get from John Deere on there? Its the same concept right? Is it because the flow from our pumps or micron requirements or what?

I think I paid around $300 for my Dahl 200 water separator. I know this is the 6.7 section and that this is a picture of the lpfp on my 6.4 but I would think there would be someway of incorporating the water separator into a 6.7's low pressure system.

Yea that's what I'm thinking, mainly just putting it in front of the stock one just like yours for additional insurance.
