Well after a quick coolant flush I took the truck out on the highway for a couple of "passing" test. This truck PULLS! The turbos light quick and I could not break 1200deg. 60-90 goes by pretty quick for a 10,000lb truck. I am impressed with the set up. Now to turn up the wick and see how the trans copes with the extra engine love

good to hear, any more details. like rpm to build boost. for example, with my truck locked in 5th gear at 1500rpm it has 2psi of boost on flat highway. and in 200 rpm i can build about 35psi rolling into it....450 should be building boost quicker since it has more weight and the rpms are up with the gearing.

60's. On level ground I have about 8psi boost. As soon as I tip in it lights. 4:30's make lag non existent.

Good to know....I went with the 15% nozzles so if I ever get my fueling issue figured out, I am looking forward to seein how the light.

I assume you haven't pushed it to find out how long of a PW you can get away with before you start dropping RP?

Not going to lie. It's a lot if work and there were a couple of times I asked myself wtf I'm doing. LOL. But after it was done and I've had it out to see how everything works. Extremely gratifying.

ive done a cab off with some redneck enginuity. im tempted to do studs, intake and exhaust manis and up pipes cab on. been reading the instructional threads. dont see how jacking up the trans and engine provides clearance for studs. anyways i bet it feels real good.

Terrifying when you turn the key first time. No ticks knocks or bangs and its all good. It's completely manageable if you have a second pair of hands when pulling and placing the heads. Invest in and engine crane. Best 300.00 spent on the project.
