When my truck has sat for about 4-5 hrs in 40 degree weather it struggles to start. It coughs and sputters and blue smokes like crazy when it starts. It starts fine when its sat all night without being plugged in, but it also runs at 1000rpm right away. Just trying to get a place to start looking and checking.

I think you may want to pull the injectors and check your o-rings. Did you have this problem before you replaced them?

I bought the truck last summer and it always started fine when it was warm. It just smoked a little bit when it was first started so that's why I replaced them. I will probably be doing them again, because I think I might also have a uvch issue.

Yeah, I think if I were you I would pull them again and change the o-rings. Make sure to check and see if you can find any visible damage to the o-rings. If you do find some damage then you know that was your problem.

Got all the injectors pulled. No visible damage to any o-rings or any of the copper washers. I am doing all new uvch and glow plugs also. Going to get it running again and check compression next time the valve covers come off
