What are these for

There are two of these things on the exterior side of the back sliding window. One is on driver side and the other is on the passenger side. What are they for?

Part of the assembly process and not needed after that. They are usually removed during the dealer PDI.

HaHaHa, I have the same thing except I only have one on the driver side. I had thought that maybe the dealership had placed it on there to tie one of those goofy balloons to when the truck was on the lot. Thanks for clarifying this mystery.
