I was driving my 2000 f-250. Guages, exhaust, intake, TDP chip. I was going 50 mph in overdrive and i went to accelerate up a hill and it usually stays in overdrive and moves along fine. But this time the rpm's surged up to 2600 and i lost a bunch of power and then the rpms came back down and the truck downshifted and went back to normal. The 4r100 in it has about 150,000 km on it. It has a john wood valvebody. I did change the fluid and filter about 5000km ago. The transmission has seen some pretty hot temps a few times. Hit 245F one time. Is this what happens when the tranny slips?
