You dont have to sand them. Use krylon for plastic or your choice of paint for plastic. The trick to making rattle can last is taking them to a auto/body shop and have them shoot it with a clear of your choice and it will last for thw life of the truck.

Idk what I should do for my truck. My vent matches my door handles and fuel door. I would remove the chrome door handles and fuel door it it wasn't for a giant scratch on the driver side handle

i would remove that stick on chrome, it takes away from the truck imo.

getting just the handle painted would probably cost less than 50.00 and it takes 10mins to remove.

ill try to do that then one weekend, when i got the truck i thought it was actually a chrome door handle, they didnt look like stick ons
