Recently bought a 2008 6.4L, it came with a dashdaq, what should I monitor with it? Or how do I get more options to monitor? I'd like to monitor EGTs, boost, EOT, ECT, and maybe EBP? What do you all keep an eye on?

I don't have like any of those as options is the problem. I don't have boost, get, ebp, tq converter slip, or trans temp. Honestly, I can't monitor sh*t with this dashdaq. My Edge had way more options

You have to go into the Ford specific list. Somewhere in the setup.

Can you shed a little more insight on that? I would love to have oil temp and those things! Boost would be cool too

If its already monitoring you should be able to add more. Does your screen have gauges that are blank? I'd love to get in my truck and walk ya thorough it, but its currently -24 here LOL

When you click on a pid ill come to a screen with warning values and such then click on the name of the PID at the top then ill go to a list. Look on the top of the screen their will be a left and right arrow with either "Generic OBD11" or some other words Ford Specific ,dyno ,economy scroll till you see ford specific and then you can choose a pid. Hope this helps

I'm in the truck right now, from left to right the options are:
Generic OBD2
Analog input
Analog input
Economy calculator
Dyno calculator

And thats it. Nothing ford specific, no oil temp, no boost, no trans, nothing good.

You should be able to change generic obd2 to ford specific. I can't remember if it's in the setup menu or not. I remember it took me a while to find it. Boost will be labeled MGP for manifold gauge pressure.

From the Main Menu tap on [Setup], then [Devices], then [Manager].

Device manager screen
.
To add a driver/input:
1. Select an unused port and tap [Add Device]
2. Using the [<] or [>] locate and select the driver you wish to install. Then tap [install].

Install the ford specific.

Sweet boys, I found the rest of the guages!! Thanks so much. Apparently I have EGT probes. I can read in three different spots. No idea where they are at

EGRTA is pre-turbo EGT's. The other EGT sensors are in the exhaust and are useless to monitor.

I must not have the preturbo EGT than! I just says EGT bank 1 sensor 1-3. They are super low, so either mine runs cool, or they are useless. Haven't broke 500 yet, even floored. 300 or so cruising town
