Im not sure what rpm im leaving at but about 1900 rpms is 10 lbs of boost on my truck, does that sound normal? I usually leave about 15-18psi(not watching rpms) and spin. Do you guys watch your rpms or your boost and what are you having luck leaving at and not spinning but not having a little lag at the start?

18 psi max here. I should be able to launch harder this year though. I'll have my PMF 3-link and traction bars on soon.

yeah. if you spool your truck up do you know what boost your at at 2k rpms?
Just messing around today 1900 or so and only 10 pounds of boost seemed low. Might not be though idk I never paid attention to them both. I usually run mine without an air filter too so it might spool a little more at lower rpms than when im just driving

Just went out again and 2k rpms is 15 lbs of boost... that sound more like it?? haha Thats pretty much the only reason I asked cuz it seemed it was a little low and worried me. When I first bring the rpms up it rises to 10 and makes its way up to 15

well my truck right off the highway with BFG A/T. 65psi in the tires. 10-11 psi was as high as I could go before the front end would start to hop. I would personally always watch boost as it tells you the load the motor is under leaving the line. RPM will not tell you that.
