wheel and tire sizes

hey guys, i'm lookin to get new wheels and tires but before i do i wanted to get some clarification... if i was to get 17x8 wheels, i probably wouldn't be able to fit 12.50's on there, right? i would be better off going with like a 17x10?

You can do 12.50's on a 8" wheel.

General rule of thumb is try to stay 4" within the width of your wheels though. Dont go trying to throw 15.50's on an 8" wheel LOL

If there isnt a price different or anything i would say go with the 17x10 though.
