Im gonna be buying some 16x9 8x170 moto metals -12mm offset 4.53 backspacing will these even fit? http://m.ebay.com/itm/400566294602?nav=SEARCH

On a Super Duty with leaf springs you need a 12 or 14 wide to get outside the wheel wells.

Ok, then, post up. Because this is a 12" wheel. It barely sticks out. A 14 would stick out an inch and a quarter more...

The -12 offset will set about an inch to inch and half on a 6.0 body style. Have same fitment on my 2003 f250. Looks good but not nearly as far as pics above.

What else do you know about the wheels? Offset, size?

I cant see a 9 sticking out..a newer wheel in 10" with a -24 offset can just barely claim to stick out.

I don't remember exactly but I believe they are -38 offset with 4 inch backspacing.

I'm not here to argue or make radical claims. I'm just responding to your claim that a 12 or 14 inch wheel is needed to clear the wheel wells

My point was that any newer wheels in current bs/offset wont.

Yours has a high amount of negative offset...exactly why I asked you about your wheels.

Im not here to argue but many peoplr that are interested in stick out arent as critical as you or I. They look at yours and go "I guess they stick out a little."

Mine stick out but not that much, imo. Not like an 05+ where the axles are wider.

You want a wheel with -44 offset for that look. Fuel sells the Hostage in 18x12 with that offset.
