Basically can trade some 2500 wheels and tires for a humvee setup.
I have a few questions first.
1) The wheels are 16.5 in diameter. I have seen 8x170 in 16.5's (i think weld makes them) but can't find if they will fit. I have read 17's will fit but not sure about 16.5's??
2) Well its a two part question. Firstly, the wheels are 8x6.5 which i know i will need adapters but the wheels have 7" backspacing. Sooo, could i run the adapter, safely, around 3 inches to make the offset around 4 inches? Would this leave a lot of stress on the hubs?
This might seem wild to do but i have had the 2500 wheels/tires sitting in the attic for about a year and i think the humvee setup would look sweet. I would PTM the wheels to the fender accent color or go flat black. The tires are 37" Tall 12.5" Wide for 16.5" Goodyear radials.
