Whats up guys!? Its been a while since Ive been on, but Im back with a few questions about my new build. I sold my 2012 and bought myself a 96 CCSb F250 that im about to start playing with. Ive already got a few performance goodies heading this way, so now im looking at lifting this bad boy up. I would like to run the same thing I had on my super duty which was a 7" lift with 37x13.5r22 on a 22x12 wheel. I like the look and stance and its not so tall its useless.
So heres the deal, Ive been emailing back and forth with the guys over at Sky. They are telling me that their super duty RSK with X code springs and my D60 will net roughly 5.5" of lift for the front and was thinking of running their 6" block for the rear would make it pretty close to level. I know this is what these guys do, but Im finding it hard to believe ill be able to run a 37 on a 12" wheel with 5.5"Ish inches of lift. The way it sits now (Bone stock) its 1.75" taller in the rear. It came to me with some old school 16x8 mags on it with some pizza cutter tires. I recently found a good set of 285/75r16 (32.5") tires to slap on it for the time being just to give it a little better look. I had to trim the bottom of the front bumper to get those to turn.
I hate to say that Im doubting anyones word, but Ive never had to piece a kit together like this and its going to cost north of 2K to do it so I want to make sure I get what I looking for. So please, let me here some of you lifted guys experiences.
Heres a pic of it right after I got it and took the HUGE 1970s looking camper off of it. 154K original and unmolested.
