I need new springs on the 01 and I want it up higher too. Will the 05 coils bolt up?

Anyone know? I ust need to know if the 05 4wd springs will mount to the spring perch and coil buckets of an 01 2wd.

No I don't believe they will. When we convert trucks to 4wd we have to change the bucket too, because the 4wd spring won't seat on to the 2wd perch.

The top coil is curved to much iirc, and I think smaller in diameter. Hope that helps.

I figured that would be the case. I am just looking for a set of springs that will give me 4-5 inches of lift.

The 450's sit higher. Any idea if the 2wd 450 springs will bolt into the 01.

The 05 up 450-550s use a straight axle or mono beam in the front. The coil buckets and springs look to be 4wd style. I can look more tomorrow at one of our trucks when I get to the shop.

I was thinking about the 99-04 year 2wd f450 but I just realized they where leaf springs.
