wont start when cold

so my buddys truck has been acting up in the morning unless its pluged in ... not even that cold here

any ways we have put new cam sensor glow plugs in and changed the the relay but still wont start on its own when its cold ... any ideas ... its all stock

oh yea it has new batt new starter and new cables

check cranking rpms and be sure it is turning at least 125rpm. next suspect worn injectors

Wouldn't hurt to check fuel pressure and ICP/DC while cranking.

Lets look at the basics, is the relay working? I have seen a number of them replaced that the problem turned out to be that they were not getting the ground signal from the PCM.
