Xrace vs. Xstreet mpg

Ok so in the last 2 weeks I have made the same 360 mile trip. The first trip I was on Xrace went 60-70(whatever traffic was doing) with somestop and go traffic in Chicago. I got right at 19mpg. Just got back tonight from the same trip same speed but more traffic and on Xstreet. I havent fueled back up but its looking like anywhere from 22-26 just guessing on where the tank is. Now on the lie-o-meter on Xrace it showed 26.6 when I got back right now its showing 28.3. I should fill it up tomorrow or monday with final results. This is in my standard cab 2wd. Im installing LP in the next couple weeks and should be knocking on the door of 30mpg plus my LP but its darn near free(dont want to hear about how LP will ruin my motor as I install kits all the time with no problem).

I've seen 28.9+ on the lie-o-meter and calculated it to a 17.6.

What tune version? 2.XX? or 3.01?

What are your RPM's at? The best I've gotten to date in a SCLB 4x4 is 19.2. That's also with 35's and about 400#s in the bed

70mph is 2000 and version 3.01. I really want to take the 3.73 out and put in either 3.55 or 3.31. I think a used rear end out of an 11 with an electric locker would be nice but they are pricey(if you can find them)

I wish I saw over 15. Maybe I will get a little better with this new tune. Lie o meter says 16.8

I have gotten 18 @ 70-75 mph w/ the Xt-street hwy. In town, my mileage sucks.
I also have gotten 24 mpg @ 55mpg, both #'s are hand calculated.

I'll be doing another trip soon and if I can remember to do so, i'll post my mileage. I've run several versions, and all of the different IDP tunes plus a KEM345 and the Xt-street works best for me. The sweet spot for speed/mileage for me is about 1800 rpms. I can drive slower all the way down to 45-55 mph but the road has to be flat.

I have 3.01 version and it doesnt matter. Xstreet or Xrace I get the same. The XtremeX is new and is a emailed tune

Ive always dd on the xrace and average 13.5. I work at my house so when I do drive it it gets beat on. My drive into town is also only about 4-5 miles on a curvy 2 line. If the xstreet is worth 3-4 mpg Ill prob start dding on it instead. Whats the Extreme X tune, more horse? Ive heard alot about it but know nothing about it.

Just fueled up and Im not happy with the results...18mpg on the nose. i was really thinking it would get at least 2 better. But how can some guys be claiming 18-20 on the highway with 4x4 crewcabs and my standard cab 2wd only gets 18? My egts at 65 are about 530-560. So I guess according to this I may as well DD on the xrace then.

Your complaining about 18mpg and its winter fuel. Its better to test mpg in the summer I think as winter blends throw schnit off

My Milage in XStreet doesnt come close to Xrace. In town or on the Hwy. 373 gears and 35's, my best is 19MPG..26.5 on the Lie-a-meter.

lol well mines reads 11.7 never higher and i get 13-14mpg hand calc. before i went to a single turbo id get 14-15 regularly hand calc. my lie-o-meter starting reading lower mpg after the build.

My lie o really came down since this new email tune. Used to say 21mpg on the 3.01 preloaded files

I know its winter blend but I also know my 7.3X when stock got 18-19 doing the same trip now with the lift and 35s gets 16. Plus I hear of crew cab 4x4 getting 18-20(i assume on summer fuel) so they are now only getting 16? Plus I had a blend of bio(always do) and it always does better on mpg then winter fuel.

Has anybody compared the new extreme x tune vs. the xrace or xstreet?
Maybe I should try some 3.31 gears(been wanting to anyway) and see what that does for mpg and speed.
