So I a few months ago I decided I needed a clutch that could hold a little more power in my 2000 7.3 truck. I bought a southbend 1939cb rated at 450hp. Any ways imwasmdebating weather or not I should replace my stock clutch fork. Mine looked to be in great shape. No cracks or wear. I tried to find on line a pic of the upgraded one ford came out with but they looked just like mine so I figured I already had it. Long story short 3 months into my new clutch and bam,,,,, so pulled her back out bought a new one and she's back up and running. Moral of the story......replace the damn fork with a new one from ford! They are only 50 bucks and look to be made way stronger in the right spot!
Zf6 clutch fork upgrade.....it is worth it?
