....Jared your signature says you have 5 trucks lol. I wouldn't be complaining about the price of things.

Jared is the baller everyone grows up wanting to be.

In reality.... He's so damn ugly he needs pimptastic trucks to attract a different truck slut for every day of the week.

No. My work ethics is why I live alone in a small farm house with 2 cats and a garage filled with cool **** and empty beer cans. Lol. The ugliness is merely an added bonus! I wasn't lucky enough to knock up a hotty like you at a young age so she was stuck with my ugly ass!

My guess is most of the folks saying oh just go buy a CNC equipment know nothing about investment and their biggest asset is their depreciating truck

Don't forget about the Mexican in the basement named Carlos. LOL

I can admit that buying that faulty gas station rain coat was the best *** up I ever had.

I farm 800 acres and have helped doubled the productivity of sales of this company in the 4 years I've been here and put up 35,000-75,000 square bales of alfalfa horse hay between my father myself and 2 helpers.

What I do with my personal money is of no concern to you, in case you didn't know, I don't have 1% of ownership in this company.

Josh is the owner, so your statement is 100% invalid and irrelevant, but great try!

Well someone is sensitive haha. Was just making a joke and observation. Did not say that you owned the company or that you weren't a hard worker... But I've also doubled production at a company I've been with for 2 years and live in an old farm house...so dont puff your chest out too much, might hurt yourself.... And I think horses are dumb...

What? You mean I can't just go buy a few used Hass machines, hire a few illegals, and then set up shop. Well my dream is sunk.

Exactly, between our fuel/machine shop we've probably got over a million dollars in equipement and yearly payroll.

No concept of how much this stuff costs unfortunately.

Whitemamba spent an hour with me in our fuel/machine shop, he can verify this. Its full of equipment and the 15 engine builds our small company has going on.

Its much easier said than done

I've been in many high end machine shops for guys that build 3,000+hp cars and there's only 2 guys working on 5 month lead time engines. I have to say the setup RCD has is pretty impressive when it comes to Diesel shops. I would venture to say most shops outsource machining and I'm not surprised. The cost of these machines will blow your mind. A low end CNC machine that only does basic cut outs is huge. Most shops don't have this equipment because the machines don't really make them money unless they use them 24/7 because they would sit most of the year. They're not going to buy machines to have them used a couple times a year for engine builds then the cost would go up to have work done because they don't have the production numbers to drive cost down.

Its basic business... supply/demand... production/down time... etc

Yes I understand the cost of these machines is very high. And it would be understandable to send the work out if it was only done once and a while. But you would think with all the big company's selling turbo kits it would be worth it to have some equipment.

The hype versus the number of actual turbo kits sold doesn't even come close to justifying a $100,000 (used and if you can find one) entry level 5 axis machine with nobody even remotely qualified to draw the CAD'S and run the machine.

Alot of folks are forgetting something. This industry is not a necessity. In any form shape or way. So.... you get what you get. It's an unregulated performance industry that's mostly illegal anyways.

Kinda like energy products sold at GNC. 90% of the products in that store if not more are NOT FDA regulated because it's a supplement not a supply. That's why there are so many little pop up vitamin company's such as the newest craze ZEAL FOR LIFE!!! Lol. Eat healthy and take a good vitamin (not from Walmart either)

It's almost like complaining to a drug lord about slow delivery of his crack... lol.

You have the choice to drive a stock truck as ford offered.

Whatever happened to Dan on cloud 9 telling Caleb and Erik that things are worth the wait? You got jokes man.

And this is where Dan showed he was a gay homosexual. As for the "we work 7 days a week up here " , sucks to be you.

Say the average CNC machine is 100,000$. And each 6.7 turbo kit profits 750$, they need to sell 133 kits to pay for the machine.... I'm pretty sure it would pay for itself pretty quick... Not to mention all the other products they could make and have available quickly.

And most mechanics have no idea how to run a business.

This is where ignorance shines. Your not failing to mention the cost of employing a full time machinist (benefits and salary), maintenance cost off said machine, and materials. Not to mention the need for a bigger building, additional cost of utilities. I could go on but you won't get it.

Where did you come up with $750? Just a random number I'm assuming?

Your simple math is so flawed. What about the upkeep... running three phase. Electric bill. Yearly calibration service.... and the guy that know how to run it.... those "guys" aren't cheap. Tag on a other $100,000 per year. Cutting dies and expendable.

Why don't you go buy a Peterbilt and a flatbed plus a prinston loader and hire a a driver. Pay his benefits and salary to build a few houses to haul the supplies?
