Been seeing a lot of 1000+ hp 6.0's this year for some reason. Just saw another one yesterday. Did something change that I missed? LOL

Now that big fuel and oil is figured out and there are ways to keep head gaskets alive for a reasonable amount of time 1000 hp is easier than ever.

Still not easy though. Lol.

I had all these big plans to be one of the first few guys to hit 1000hp on a 6.0 when I started building my rcsb race truck 2 years ago. Now it seems like it is no big deal.

I'm looking to be one of those 1000+ Hp 6.0s .. I'm just stumped on the turbo, s475 T-6 1.32A/R or T-4 1.10 A/R gated ... 350/150 Hybrids any input would be appricated I'm hoping for fuel only single turbo

That probably won't happen. I'd do a 476 with some 430s and hope for the best. I don't see it happening on fuel with a single.

Hybrids and dual hpop have really evolved. And really we just have the right people involved I think. Jesse is the most active powerstroke guy I've ever seen, all the in house stuff, the crazy amount of trial and error and the dedication to one platform pays off.

It's pretty similar to what Morgan did with the outsider. Some of these 6l guys are the most dedicated people I've ever seen.

Sure makes you want to jump back on the 6.0 wagon, then you realize how much $$$ it takes to get there. Not that anything at that power level is that cheap.

while warren is current 6l king, that Charlie keeter (think that's his name anyways) is a very close second. that truck is flat out nasty... triples really seem to work very well on his truck.

here I am in the 500 ballpark feeling like a baller.... lol

Yeah that's just a perfect example of the right combination of parts. Plus the trans is a huge advantage. Them boys got it dialed for sure.

The heads on that truck move some serious air though.

Well, yea. They were designed for a 230hp truck lol....he has doubled the cfm or even tripled it. He did what everybody told him he couldnt and it all worked.

Thats why thuggy truck broke700 with 250/200s. The 6l seems to be more efficient out the gate but you guys are hitting ceilings too where the cam needs work, heads, etc.
