hey you might as well put some upgraded uppipes on while it's out. i just had to replace mine last weekend with the cab on......and it sucks. the stockers tend to leak pretty bad, pretty often.

I just did some not to long ago on a customer trucks. I was B@$ch about doing it and after i was all said and done it only took me 3 hrs. I cant even get the cab off in that short amount of time.

To the OP looks very nice almost to nice to put back in.

What color did you use on the block?
I like the way Orange looks on mine, but this color looks really good too...may do mine like this.

Torque couldn't wait for me to get the injectors opened up.

And the 37 degree flaring tool came in so I can get the fuel lines finished up tonight. I got word that the truck was being pulled in the shop about 40 minutes ago so it will be warmed up for me in the morning to start dropping the engine in.

I got this far after getting the intake on and finishing up the last few things that I couldn't do before today. I started to put the engine in the truck about noon and pretty much had it this far by 4:30pm. This also included installing my new fuel lines and fuel filter. I am hoping to get it finished up tomorrow before I have to go to Christmas at my parents. I shouldn't have to do any other modifications it should all just be basic install stuff at this point.

That looks incredible! I love what you've done with the color on the block. Looks clean but not over the top....

I was leaning towards a grey or silver but this is BA!!

That sounds about right...Did you actually take the motor apart? Or just clean it up...fix some leaks?

Ahhh....I see...so this was a very invasive way to fix leaks and clean up the motor?

Im contemplating this very maneuver myself, on 7.3 however. We all know what greasy pigs those motors are.
