    Fuel additives for the 6.7?

Finally someone here gets it. The only fuel additive that should ever be run (if any) is lubricity/cetane boost such as PM-22 or equivalent. Use anti-gel when necessary. Any additive that claims to clean, emulsify/demulsify water, etc...... stay FAR FAR AWAY. Those types of additives do not...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

If that's all it takes to muck up a thread and get everyone's panties in a bunch, then you guys are more than a bit sensitive. But whatever, I'll back out. This is my last post in this thread. Regardless, I do sincerely hope you get your truck running.

    body shop hurt my engine.....

Explain how I was wrong here. The body shop had zero reason to move the CCV. He's claiming they did intentionally cut and move it. Is it not possible that the wreck knocked it loose, not the body shop, and that they inadvertently didn't see it? If that's the case, then wouldn't it make sense...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

I wasn't exactly being a jerk about all of this, but now...... screw it. I think you're being a hypocrite and making snap judgments against the body shop, and you created this thread to try and gain sympathy from others because your own install wasn't done properly in the first place. I'm...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

I'm poking the bear because your story is full of holes and doesn't make any sense. If the hose was completely out of the way as you have claimed, then WHY would a body shop tech move it? After all, nothing else was moved.

    body shop hurt my engine.....

Why would a body shop cut the zip ties that go only to the CCV reroute? Was any of the factory wiring, looms, cables, hoses, etc moved? Of course not, otherwise that would have already been posted here. Simple fact is that it wasn't properly secured in the first place. Or we haven't heard...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

Why? Because I'm right? Removing the bed doesn't move the hose around, unless the hose wasn't properly secured in the first place. In which this is precisely what happened in this case. It's plain to see in the limited pictures provided. Sorry, but it is what it is. He may have "zip tied"...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

A CCV hose isn't nearly as noticeable to the average body shop tech as a gigantic bed stack. :slap: People that remove and install truck beds all day long don't expect something such as a CCV hose. Especially one that was installed in such a way that would move/shift with the removal of the...

    body shop hurt my engine.....

And aftermarket line that SHOULDN'T be there in the first place and blame the body shop for putting the BED back on and blowing an engine??? Seriously folks..... Bit ridiculous. How exactly is a body shop supposed to know about weird and subtle modifications? Exactly who out there would know...

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

Yeah, because I always drive like a dyno........ baby it up to a certain speed and then floor it for 8 seconds. 100% driving characteristics yo!!!

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

Agreed. There's really no debate that small vs large nozzles spray differently, atomize differently, etc. Of course we understand that will have an impact on how the fuel burns, emissions, etc. To what degree? I think some of it has been blown a bit out of proportion.

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

It is impossible, because you seem to think tuning small nozzles is just like tuning larger nozzles. The tuning factor alone would be a far greater contributor to your testing variance than the differences in nozzles.

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

I'm just pointing out that you keep offering an impossible test that is clearly going to be one-sided and biased.

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

I just explained CLEARLY as to why this is impossible. It's not rocket science.

Detuning large injector nozzles - How to pick injector size for upgrades!

Not if you're trying to tune injectors from Pensacola Diesel. Did I just say that out loud???? :morons: Can't tune out bad builds. Build variants can be a challenge if you don't know exactly what you're dealing with. That's why some tuners have good luck with a certain brand, and another...
