    It has the dampers located above the tie rod, exactly like the picture below except with red boots covering the damper rods.

    6.0 - metal in low pressure oil reg

    The truck has been running fine for a month now. We ended up doing a rebuild. The bearings showed signs of digesting quit a bit of dirt, way worse than I've seen cummins with triple the miles show. No idea where that piece of metal came from, lifters and cam were fine.

    If you got crap in your fuel tank an airdog will filter it all out within approx 200 miles. If its bad you'll need a case of filters. LOL

    6.4 rattle driving me nuts!

    I'd have asked that dealer to put in writing that they will not work on your truck and that its ok to drive the truck until you can find another dealer that will do the work. Then I'd have called ford.
