I have a 2004 F250 6.0. It has 170K on it. About 10K ago we pulled the cab for the second time. We put on new Ford OEM heads, Adrenalin HPOP, new DD clutch, and allot of other things. Spent a ton of money. About the only thing I didn't do was injectors. Now the injectors need to be done. Two...
I think it's just a bump on the intake side from 68 to 71mm. What I've read is that it doesn't really show any real gains. But that's if I'm remembering correctly.
I'm selling my dual dick clutch for a 6.0 ZF6. Its a sentered iron from Kenny's Pulling Parts. The clutch as a whole has around 40K on it but I recently blew my head gaskets and while the cab was off I had Kenny rebuild the friction plates. At most they have 4k on them. This has been a great but...
If you're wanting 500. I'd get a regulated return, I like Driven's setup. Stay away from an Airdog, unless you like changing pumps on the side of the road and in parking lots. I pulled my Airdog 2 off and switched to an A1000 and love it. While you have you turbo out get a hold of Charlie at CK...
I'm running a Kenny's pulling parts dual disk clutch. When I first put it in it ran great. Easy engagement and slip. It felt the exact same as my factory clutch. Slowly the truck started squalling when the clutch would engage. As time went on the squall got louder and louder. After some time it...
What he said. No studs, no injectors. There are several upgrades I would make before jumping into bigger injectors. IE exhaust, blue spring, maybe an upgraded ficm, supporting mods for the bigger sticks. Just my opinion.
To answer the question of how much spray. The honest answer is I don't know. We did it with a little red neck engineering to see what we could get out of her. Basically we ran a hose into the intake and opened the bottle just to see what she had to give. Opening the bottle a little more each run.
I ran an Airdog for about six months and ripped it off for an a1000. Never looked back. Sadly I have to disclose that those where on a local dyno that has been known to be generous with its numbers.
Ya I sit right on 680 with no go gas. Charlies 68mm is amazing. I've ran it with 190-75 and now 225-100. 225 is as big as it can hold. Just a little smoke at full boost. The 190s ran great but I decided to go bigger when they went south.
Just my .02 but compounds seem a bit over kill for 600. I'm north of 725 with a modified stock turbo and it runs great. But like I said just my opinion.
