Know that towing anything behind a fifth-wheel trailer is not legal in all states. Double towing is prohibited by non-commercial drivers in most states in the East. I have a friend in the Florida Highway Patrol who writes tickets for double towing by the ticket pad full on Interstate 10.

My guess is either a loose connector or possibly corrupted data. Remove power for about fifteen minutes or so and see if that helps.

My truck had the CD-6 radio in it. I put an aftermarket Kenwood in it with an aftermarket interface that will allow any radio with a remote control line to be controlled by the steering wheel controls. Check with Crutchfield.com, that's where I got my stuff.
