    Time to drop the tank. Not getting fuel to the pump. Stuck a hose in a tank of diesel and it runs. Even with the old idm with the codes. Think I'll leave that to the old man.

    Old idm still shows same codes after the test. New one is clean. Buzz is good on all injectors. What am I missing? Motor give up finally? Had enough blow by to bounce the cap and started hard then idled rough before this.

    It does have high pressure oil while cranking. I know that the motor needs changed, but ol' dad will drive it till it gives up. Think I might have an IDM that i could swap it out with. Guess I will give that a shot for now.

    Engine is cold. It won't start. Dumped oil in the cylinder then it had 300+ in the cylinder that had 120 yesterday. Guess time to yank the motor.

    Glow plugs are out. 42 Pin connector is unpluggled. I checked compression with a gauge screwed into the glow plug hole in each cylinder. Then started cranking. I will check the air filter hose. Going to try the oil later this morning. Thanks guys.

    Ok. First off I checked the oil today. Was about 3 quarts low. Topped it off and went and drove it. Died one twice in thirty minutes. Both times were sitting idling, not driving like last night. So I threw a ICP sensor that was laying around on and still has the idle surge and still died on me...

    Ok, didn't have a chance to hook up my AE tonight, but I unplugged the ICP sensor and the idle surge smoothed out a little. Drove it and seemed real choppy but never died. When I let of the throttle the rpm's dip low but doesn't die. Hooked the sensor back up and it died three times in maybe 8...
