Jim there is no grease zerk on mine. Also I was told the grease will attract dirt and act like grinding compound since there is no zerk to force clean grease in there. I've been told use a dry graphite spray. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I think someone else was having the same issue and ended up taking the whole setup off because they couldn't get it figured out. Sounds like it needs a check valve somewhere to keep the cooler from bleeding off.

I never understood why techs would say that. They don't get paid to test drive vehicles. When I was still at a dealership if there was a TSB for a customer concern it got done whether I could duplicate it or not. OP keep taking it in and hopefully they'll get it figured out.

Yeah I'm leaning towards oil cooler. This truck has always seemed to run a little warm on oil temp but I did a bunch of coolant flushes with vc9 about 15-20000 miles ago and it seemed to help. From what I heard the overflow bottle is just blackish looking inside.
