Does the converter only lock up in 5th and up? Or will it lock as early as factory? I know my 15 which is still stock will lock up around 30 mph at mild throttle.

So would a 4 or 5" system make a difference over just doing a ****** pipe if im only doing tunes ? Or should i stay with just a ****** pipe for ease of returning to stock?
