One more turbo question,

If I was going to go for a custom S3/S4 set up who would be the best shop to talk to about ordering the right turbos for my truck and maybe have good insight on how to set up all the piping? I would have it installed locally, but would be nice if someone has done this before and knows where to put the turbos and piping.

Hey guys, just an update. I'v decided to have BD Diesel build me custom turbo set up. My question is what size turbos would you suggest? I want a good daily driver that i can still tow my toys with (max 16,000 lbs).

Once again here is my engine build so far:
• H&S Mini Max Tuner - Custom KEM 345 Performance Tune
• No Limit Cold Air Intake
• Maryland Performance Billet Oil Fill/ CCV Kit
• 3" Intercooler High Flow Piping
• BD Diesel Cool-It Intercooler
• Elite Diesel EGR Delete With Waste Gate
• 4 3/4" Turbo Back Dual Exhaust With DPF Delete
• BD 6.0 Exhaust Manifold
• Port & Polished Heads - Port Matched to 6.0 Exhaust Manifolds
• Elite Diesel Ported Intake Manifold
• BD Twin Turbo Upgrade
o 73.0mm Primary – 58.5mm Secondary
• River City Diesel up Pipes
• Fass Titanium 150 GPH Fuel Pump and New Style Suction Tube
• Industrial Injection 85% Dragon Fire High Pressure Fuel Pump
• Elite Stage 1 Ported Fuel Rails
• Elite 110hp 8 Hole Nozzles
• Air Dog Fuel Bowl Delete
• Arp Headstuds
• Elite Oil Cooler System
• Sinister Coolant Filtration System

Any input would help.

Thanks

If your going to tow s366/488 is too big/laggy.

S363/485 isn't too bad.

Garret's of similar size will be way more driveable and way cooler egt's to tow with.

Whatever you do just listen to this guy named Morgan. Bd doesn't know anything when it comes to 6.4. They thought a 6.4 lpfp made 60psi. That is all. Get proper custom tunes.. Idp or gear head. See how your truck drives with those tunes.

I have been looking at the garrets, they are wicked turbos, just more than i can spend right now.

BD has helped me out a lot so far and have treated me good. I have no complaints about them.

So far i have been running custom KEM Tunes, Mike has reworked them a few times for me and they seem to be working good. Is their a big differences from one person to another?

I guess where it sits now i would be looking at:

-62/82 - Common proven set up
-62/88 - Seems like Erikclaw really liked this set up
or
-63/85 - I have don't know much about this set up that Morgan suggested, but it sounds like a great option.

Bd is a joke. The last 6.4 they had with a bunch of upgrades never ran right. Morgan is spot on for sizing. If you can swing ball bearing turbos it would be better.
