2007 6.0 Egr valve question

At work we've got a 2007 6.0 and the egr valve is bad or at least that's the code it's throwing. Will the truck run still if I just take the egr system off and use blocker plates or will I need a tuner, also how long of a job is it to accomplish putting in just a new egr valve vs. Egr delete

New egr valve only takes 10 min to install. If not deleting the cooler to then the egr plate is just as easy but I would just leave the old plug in instead of buying a blocker plate. And yes it would still run but you will have check engine lights without a tune.

For the price of a new valve and having the square cooler in the 07, I would delete that POS quick..

And plan on six to eight hours for a delete with new oil cooler, possible turbo rebuild/cleaning. Even if it takes you 20 hours...worth every second on a 6.0.
