I'll send you one Chris!
I know you would brother man! But that block is most likely back together already... LOL
Any idea why pistons are cracking?

#7 and #8 are both cracked, as is seemingly normal for stock turbos, and high hp tunes, and running hard... A lot of heat built up in there. And with every cylinder getting equal fuel, and 7 and 8 getting less air..... well, they seem to run hotter than the rest. Best explanation that I have....

But, we went with International HD pistons, refinished heads, push rods, stronger valve springs, new lifters, ARP studs, a new oil pump, EGR blockoff plate, BIGRPWR's cold side pipe, HEAVYHAUL's II 71mm, DPC converter, deep trans pan.... Not bad for my big ole biotch and her wide ass hips.... Should be picking her up on Wed when I get back to Chapel Hill.

For now though..... I am being forced to drive around in a slow ass, near stock, crew cab, 6.4, with a "Diesel Power Challenge 2012" sticker on the windshield..... What's that all about???? LOL

I was gonna wait to put that turbo on until april..... If I had waited, then we would not have had the cab up, and engine apart, and would not know the pistons were cracked, and I would likely be driving on an interstate, with 20 K behind me, and Then I would be buying a new motor..... BLEH!!!! So, I am def glad that I decided not to wait.... LOL

And it was weak....... Until I found the button that disarms the traction control...... LOL

Chris, sorry to hear about your bad luck with pistons, but I agree 100% that it's best you found it now. I am glad I decided to do the HD pistons on my build too.

You should be driving that grey crew cab with 110's and tow powers....LOL

This truck rides very nice, considering what it is capable of.... I do miss my back up camera though.... I am spoiled with that thing... LOL

Ive been there a few times. Not recommended! Lol.

I know that you have been there bro! Luckily, I had the cab off anyhow...
Was the truck showing any symptoms, or loss of power?

Nope. Just developed a ticking sound in FL enroute to NC... Plenty of go fast in her. I never ran her on a tune higher than Spartan 275 though.... She just pulled my RV, and showed no weakness doing it...
