Lol well I tightened it up , and for some reason I'm still hearing air pass! Ill let the motor cool so I can get under her and feel all over to see where its coming from

Check everything from where the cylinder head mounts to the exhaust manifold to where the turbine housing mounts to the center cartridge for loose connections or leaky gaskets.

Welp I got a fuel leak.... dam torque sequences.... my lines from the fuel rails are loose... I can tell because my oil is deluted. Tommorow valve covers are coming off. And I'll be able to see the leak.... also gonna probably do a compression test

Fix the exhaust leak as well.... also when I start the truck after sitting for 2hrs it will shut off after 10 seconds after start up.... the oil light will be showing as well as the wrench light. I get the mini Max and delete the codes and it will fire up and run great... I know its got something to do with the delutted oil

Did you reuse your fuel lines? Make sure you get the torque sequence and the final degree correctly.

Look on the bright side. It's a lot easier to get the valve covers off LOL

Yup all new lines... torqued perfectly... degrees 100% on.. I'm just making sure.... can't always trust a 16 year old boys work lol

Did you reuse the copper seals on the supply and return lines ? There are new viton/copper seals for those and the torque spec is lower for those type of seals.

Yup new copper seals lines everything.... I checked pulled the valve covers.... everything great shape ... how thin is 5w-40 suspose to be? I checked the oil and its oil. Smells like oil, just I never felt oil to that degree of being so sensitive.... I'm working out all the bugs little by little ... now compression tests

Its on the bottom side of acceptable. Ideally you don't want much less than 380 psi.

your altitude will cause that to be a little lower too so i would say you are good, anything less than 325 and the thing is pretty wore out.

Quick question.... truck after sitting for about 2hrs it will turn on, stay running for 10 seconds and shuts off... wrench light and oil light come on... there's no codes, but I delete the codes I pull up and it fires up and runs normal
