Color match looks great. Tones down the flash of that front end so much...especially with the painted shell.

Follow the same method you use when doing 6.4 head lights. If you have a consistent temp oven then leave it on the whole time you're trying to remove the glue. it goes by much quicker.
300 degrees for about 10 minutes with the heat off
then pry on the edges till it breaks loose, you only get about 1 or 2 minutes to pry before they need to go back in the oven, once you get them apart like wayne said you need to put the lense and backing plate back in the oven to loosen the glue to remove it.
Then when you get it apart you need to take the chrome part out of the backing plate there are some screws that hold it to the lens. The bad thing on the 2011+ is you have to tape off the reflector side because it doesnt just come apart like the lower part of the lamp. the reflector is a bit of a pain to get off too, be carefull not to break the tabs off.
then scuff the chrome the best you can, use bull dog on the lense, primer, and then paint. let dry and silicone the thing back together, let sit overnight if possible and then reinstall.

I siliconed my 6.4 lights back together after Harley'ing them a while ago, and now want to black out the reflector. Should heating them up again loosen the silicone just like the factory glue?
Also, I didn't scuff the chrome when I did mine, and just painted over it with Krylon Fusion. Still looks great almost 2 years later.

I scuff only because on one set of lights I did the painted wanted to ball up like water on a waxed hood
More than likely the silicone should just peel apart without heat that's why I use it instead of window urethane

I'm always a fan of color matched......along with retrofitting projectors and fully painting everything. I'll be doing a set of these soon with projectors, full paint, some show stuff, etc..
