yeah for sure, not to mention the 6 speed issues, but there may be a drastic change in 6.7 trans tuning soon, that will help alot. the biggest difference i see is , with a 6.4 no matter what you're still driving a 10 or earlier. oh my, how things have changed in 5 years. 6.7 at 600 is still slower thru the traps than a tuned 6.4 , but IMO the 6.7 has more power between the gears than a tune only and much cleaner and much more responsive. pretty sure from a dig my truck will wax a tuned 6.4, but in a 1/4 mile i would lose .

yeah, the throttle response on the 6.7's is awesome, and the head flow has to be a big part of that. I love my 6.4's, and I'm keeping the reg cab for sure, but they're so dirty compared to a 6.7, and I love the interior creature comforts of the 6.7

just sold my CCSB and my CCLB is next on the block. keeping the RC though!

So how many miles are on this 6r to prove how strong it is. Craig's 4r lasted over a year with 75+ track passes and daily driven. A hell of a lot better than any 5r

that sucks. i went 8.1 and 12.8 a bunch of times .

I went 8.1 but fuel pressure killed my 1/4. Only trapped 98 lol I'm making power just need to pony up and drop 6k on fuel system and trans.

5R in the 6.0 doesn't hold a candle to the 6.4.

yes, I realize it's essentially the same trans, but they seem to hold up to a LOT more in the 6.4's

I had a 6.4 trans in my 6.0 and it lasted 2 weeks. Keep in mind my torque number is probably only like 900 lol
