Ah you are correct. I just checked and he has a lmm. :doh: I can't keep up with all the different dmax motors. LOL

That ain't no joke lol. And they always bash us ford guys for swapping engines when they've had a handful of revisions

Most of them probably think thier's is still the same engine just with minor tweaks since they are all 6.6 liters. Lol

Its a Bell, either 63 or 64mm inducer ( can't remember ).

2011-2013 Chevy/GMC LML Duramax 6.6L

H&S Motorsports Dual High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit*
The factory fuel system is capable of around 500 HP, we needed more than that.

Airdog II DF-165 Lift Pump
We needed to supply plenty of clean fuel to the high pressure fuel pumps.

Custom Compound Turbo Kit (fabricated by H&S Motorsports)
This kit was added to provide more air-flow to the engine.

ATS built Allison Transmission
The stock transmission slipped in our pre-run tests at 568 HP. We know the engine in the LML is capable of more than that, so we need a transmission that will allow us to push the limits further.

Seems kinda funny that all these aftermarket parts are going on to this LML for testing. How do they expect this to be a "fair" comparison to their first test of the 6.7 Powerstroke?

I could be wrong, but I don't think they are trying to do a comparison. I think they are just trying to see what each platform can handle respectively

I would have an issue also, but they posted the limit of the stock tranny.

While still a respectful number, all I can say is "Allison what?"

I'm ok with what they are doing. They didn't find the limit of the 6.7 motor...yet.

It'll be funny to hear all the Duratards either praising or defending the outcome either way. Lol I can't wait to hear how much more HP it made than the 6.7 ford(if it does) when it has more parts thrown at it lol
