Yes, it does have an adaptive system. It does not learn driving styles.I thought I read some where that the 5r has an adaptive system on it. Just cuz it was on the Internet doesn't make it true huh? :lol:
The TCM has an adaptive learning system. Not the truck or transmission

What is does learn is how long each shift takes from when the TCM commands the shift until it measures that the shift has completed. It compares this time to the shift time programmed into the TCM. It then stores a pressure adjustment for the next time it makes that shift. Driving style has nothing to do with it.
