So I've got my irate t4 system sitting here and need to buy a turbo. Other then a 366 or BASB, has anyone run something like a 364 FMW or 367.7? Just looking for some other potential options. I have no problem buying the BASB if that is the best bet. Truck will be used to tow a max of 10k and don't plan on getting it anything higher then 500hp at an absolute maximum.

Just depends on your budget. The 64.5fmw/73/.91 should spool great on a 7.3. Has the same flow as the 366, but the smaller lighter wheel can spool a tad quicker.

The 64.5 out flows a box 366.. I ran both on a 6.0 I liked the 64.5 better. Haven't read anyone running a fmw on a 7.3.. I think the only company that makes a fmw 67 in a 300 framed turbo is htt.

Does anyone have any specs on the basb? It can't be much different than an s364fmw. With those small nozzles you could even get away with an s362fmw, but for a little more i'd go with the 364 or basb

Our 64 mm turbo will flow as much or more than a box 366 and will out spool it hands down. The turbo is excellent in the drive pressure area too. Ask around and the guys running the 64 on their 6.4's and 6.7's are loving them. Depending on your setup, they are capable of about 600-650 hp. Let me know if you have any questions.

Please post the dyno results of the billet 64mm wheel compared to the cast wheel.

I was spoke with Pius last week if it was worth swapping out the cast 64 wheel for the billet version in the BASB. He told me to hold up until he got the dyno results.

The billet version is the exact copy of the cast wheel. The 64mm wheel that is used in the BASB is also used in 6.4 and 6.7 turbos.

The BASB turbos will now come standard with the billet version according to Pius.

The 64 wheel is good for 52lbs of boost.

The 64 FMW definitely interests me. Not sure on pricing on them, but if it's not anything crazy I may have to give it a shot. If it doesn't work out I could always throw a BASB in, but I'd like to try something different.

I had one about a year or so ago. It was 1350$ 64.5/71/.91 I think it was a 71 or 73 it spooled great. Sounded even better

This is the info that James gave me last April when I inquired about the 364.5FMW vs the BASB.

"Hey, That bell turbo is nothing more than an out of the box S366 with a
name other than S366.

I would highly suggest the S364.5FMW. Flow of a cast 66 with the spool of
a cast 63mm. Flow rating is 79lbs per min. 1lb per min behind the S366.

Uses the 68mm turbine wheel, and should be used with a 1.00 t4 housing or
larger.

You can always mod the turbo to a Billet 66mm down the road if you would like, but I can assure you, you will be plenty satisfied with the S364.5FMW.

Spool up is about as fast as stock."

I'm running a 364.5 fmw on my 7.3. Spools fast. Great towing charger.
It's a 364.5/68/1.00 T4 s300. Phone works turbochargers. Talk to reed partridge. He can build you anything you want including a fmw 367. Prices are as good as anywhere.

No arguments wanted, just facts, where and what is different about a bell 66/73/.91 than any other s366 out there? I personally have had a few bell chargers apart for mod/rebuild/etc, and found nothing out of the ordinary. I am not very familiar with the names/ terms for the different bell chargers, so maybe someone can fill me in.

The bell basb is not a s366. It is a 64 mm s300 with probley a different size turbine and exaust housing. Nothing like a s366.

Now if you were comparing a bell 66/73/91 to a s366 , my guess would be identical except for maybe a 360 degree thrust pad.
