Using 3/4" u-bolts on my truck with 8" traction blocks.

He'll likely recommend the 3/4" bolts. Personally, I think the higher you go, the more they are required, but agree they certainly won't hurt a thing and a good idea at any lift.

Finally had some time to put the bars on yesterday. Night and day difference! Anyone who said trac bars should be at the top of the mods list is absolutely right. Even from the moment when I put it in reverse to back out of the garage it was noticeable. Drove around in the rain and the amount of throttle I was able to apply would have spun wheels without the bars. Today I did some more spirited driving on dry roads. The shifting is smoother(even with a firm race tune), even light acceleration is much more refined. The OUO kit is top notch, packaged well, great instructions, great design. They look great and function better. Anyone on the fence about ordering a set should absolutely do so!
