Changing turbos to Garret GTX/ need opinions

No way the lP is making 65 70, i could see total boost being that high but no way on the low pressure, if that were the case total boost would easily be over 120 psi

im guessing he meant bp. my turbos are bigger than his and dont make nearly that boost total.

your turbos are more efficient though... they will move the same mass air at a lower boost level

I guess it would be total. Never thought about what I was sayin. The boost levels I'm reading are from the ams1000. The gate for the 35 is set at 15psi and the boost reading stops there at 15psi and then the gate that dumps before both is set at 70 and reads 65-70. So I'm sure you're right that is total boost of both. I'm still a bit new and learning. The boost reading from the ams is real close to what the dd reads. Pretty sure I can't get a boost reading of the 42 itself the way my setup is.
