Cummins in a 1500

if you wanna be different swap in a duramax, cummins swaps are to over done. you could also hit your 550 hp goal on stock parts.

Umm I know in my 95 there were springs. But your right there are torsion bars in the newer trucks . My bad

All Chevy and GMC pickup trucks from 1988 are torsion bar front suspension. My 93 has torsion bars and it is the old square body.

There are allot of guys putting Dmaxxes in 1500's shouldn't be that big of an issue to put 12v in it.

:whs: Just have to build the trans though. The chevelle (I think its a 70 or 72) with a dmax in it is SWEET! Thing is fast with stock turbo and injectors IIRC

True but I see more DMax 1500s then cummins . That's what I would do.

Hey Smut here is some info on the cummins in a chevy. This is an avalanche but that is pretty close to the same thing just 4wd.

That is, by far, the biggest waste of time and money ever... The Avalanche, in my opinion, is one of the worst looking vehicles ever made.

But 33mpg in that 1500 with 4bt is pretty awesome.
