i would try Gearhead tunes fwiw
The Solenoid may need replaced. I've got plenty of my version here. I'd be happy to send one out to you if you find you still have the same issues
Absolute, my trans shop is of the opinion that the aftermarket direct drive solenoids are simply a stock solenoid "with the screw turned a 1/4 turn." Is there any validity to that?
I got the tuner back and loaded the updated IDP tune, along with their built trans tune. The engine trans is considerably crisper, especially off idle. The 1-2, 2-3, and 5-6 trans are gang busters, they shift nice and confident and firm. But I've still got a flare-up on the 3-5. I tried increasing line pressure by 10% on the tuner just for the 3-5 and it made the problem worse. The trans got stuck in 5th and I had to stop on the side of the road and reprogram.
I'm very curious about the direct drive solenoid, I want to try reinstalling my Go-Go solenoid against the advice of Suncoast...
